Located north of Downtown Tampa lies Citrus Park, a town originally settled by citrus farmers and cattle raisers. With the addition of trains, sawmills and turpentine stills, Citrus Park grew into a booming business town. At the turn of the 20th century new businesses came to Citrus Park creating a self-contained community complete with lumber mills, general stores, realtors, postmasters, and operating telephones. Today the community has undergone many changes reverting to a rural suburban residence known for its shopping centers, schools, and gated communities.

The Tampa suburb is considered a modern and urbanized community well known for its history, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Enjoy Citrus Park’s popular animal sanctuary, The Big Cat Rescue, with a walk on the wild side, then stop by the Westfield Citrus Park Mall, or tee off with friends at The Golf Club.

As a central location, Citrus Park residents have excess to many spectacular entertainment options such as The St. Pete Times Forum, The Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens, Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World.

Citrus Park has easy access to I-275, the Veterans Expressway, Memorial Highway, Dale Mabry, and Gunn Highway allowing for fast travel to and from Downtown Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Orlando.
